Bailey & Ross Chouest
A 3-Day Celebration of Love

VIZCAYA MUSEUM & GARDENS  ·  MIAMI, FL  ·  PLANNED BY DAVID TUTERA

Some love stories don’t fit into a single day. For Bailey and celebrated NASCAR driver Ross Chouest, one night was never going to be enough to hold everything they wanted to share with the people they love. What unfolded over three extraordinary days in Miami was something rare — a celebration conceived by the legendary David Tutera, brought to life in flowers by Flowers by Semia, captured forever by Alex Paul Photography — and set against the breathtaking grounds of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.

The Florals That Stopped Time

Before a single vow was exchanged, Flowers by Semia had already made guests weep. The historic stone facade of Vizcaya was transformed into a living cascade of blush, coral, fuchsia, and deep magenta — peonies, garden roses, wisteria, orchids, and cherry blossoms tumbling from every column and archway in waves of color that felt simultaneously wild and perfectly composed. A white rose-covered antique baby carriage greeted guests at the entrance. Magenta Murano glass chandeliers glowed from within the floral arch. Every stem felt deliberate; every arrangement, a masterwork.

The Bridal Party & The Groom

Bailey arrived in a gown that left the entire garden breathless — a blush pink feathered masterpiece, intricately embroidered with lace and trailing ostrich feathers that swept the ancient stone path behind her. Her long blonde waves were set in effortless Old Hollywood curls, and she moved through the floral arch as though she had always belonged there. Ross — dashing in black tie — watched with the quiet certainty of a man who already knew exactly how lucky he was.

The Reception: Vizcaya After Dark

As the Florida sky faded to violet, the celebration moved inside. Flowers by Semia returned with an entirely new floral language — yellow, ivory, and soft blue blooms overflowing from Vizcaya’s bronze goddess fountain, with lavender and blush arrangements anchoring candlelit tables dressed in blue-and-white floral linen. The custom dance floor — navy and gold lily-print, installed over the reflecting pool — anchored the room. A Steinway grand piano on a floating stage completed the picture of absolute elegance.

The Music & The Moment

Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour by a live string quartet performing beneath Semia’s towering floral fountain installation. Champagne trays and passed caviar moved through the crowd in the grand Moorish atrium — chandeliers ablaze, Spanish moss trailing from above. As dinner gave way to dancing, the energy in the room became something electric. I stepped behind the decks and the dance floor filled instantly. This is what it’s all about.

“There is nothing quite like the energy of a David Tutera event. Every detail intentional. Every guest ready to celebrate. The dance floor filled before I even dropped the first song.”

The Venue

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens — James Deering’s 1916 Italian Renaissance estate on Biscayne Bay — gave this celebration a soul. Its ancient stone balustrades, Moorish arches, mosaic courtyards, and subtropical gardens provided a backdrop that no set designer could replicate. For a 3-day event of this magnitude, only a venue with this much history could hold space for everything Bailey and Ross had dreamed.
