Luxury Wedding DJ in Rhode Island

Elevated DJ Experiences for Refined Events

I’m DJ Valentina, an open-format wedding DJ based in Rhode Island. I have been performing professionally since 2007 and have worked more than 800 weddings and events. Much of that work has been here at home, and I have returned to many of the same Rhode Island venues multiple times. My job is to read the audience in front of me and guide the room’s energy from the first guest arriving to the last song.

What an open-format Rhode Island wedding actually sounds like

Open format means I am not locked into one genre and I am not working from a fixed template. I mix live, so I can change direction mid-set based on what is actually happening on the floor. That usually means strategically blending the familiar American records your guests already know with the global sounds that matter to your families, so the transitions feel deliberate rather than abrupt. Before your wedding we will talk through what you love, what you would rather never hear again, and the songs that carry real meaning for the people who will be in the room.

Rhode Island venues where I have performed many times

I have extensive firsthand experience performing at Providence Public Library, Skyline at Waterplace, Omni Providence Hotel, Providence G, Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, Edgewood Manor, Belle Mer Island House, Aldrich Mansion and OceanCliff Hotel. If your venue is not on that list, that is not an obstacle. I will work from the venue’s confirmed production requirements and coordinate with your planning team so the entertainment plan fits the celebration you are actually building.

Multicultural, multilingual, and comfortable moving between the two

I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, and I DJ the way I talk, moving between cultures without turning it into a novelty segment. Many of the celebrations I perform here bring together different backgrounds, generations and musical tastes in one room, and I plan for that from the beginning. Bridging cultures naturally is the part of this work I care most about, because nobody should have to sit out an hour of their own family’s wedding.

Live musicians and atmosphere options

Live saxophone, violin and percussion can be incorporated alongside my set if you want that texture, whether during cocktail hour, a ceremony processional or a peak moment on the dance floor. Lighting and other enhancements are available options rather than automatic inclusions, so we will build in only what you actually want.

What it costs

Weddings start at $5,500. What moves the final number is the shape of your day: hours of coverage, how many spaces require sound, whether you add live musicians, and whether you select lighting or other enhancements. Tell me about your date and venue and I will put a figure together for you.

Weddings start at $5,500. The final figure depends on hours of coverage, how many spaces require sound, whether you add live musicians, and whether you select lighting or other enhancements.

Yes. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, and I regularly build sets that move between languages and regions while keeping the musical flow natural and connected.

How do we get started?

Send me your date, your venue and a sense of what you want the night to feel like, and we will take it from there.
